Thanks for asking.... it's nice to know someone is willing to help out.

Both machines are identical in installs. Except one is a PB and the other is a PMac.

The version is XCode 2.1 and the framework is installed in /System/Library/Frameworks/SynServices.framework . Neither machine has a /Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.4u.sdk file/folder installed. I think it has something to do with linking of the framework to the compiler...?

Still at a loss and stuck developing on a tiny screen powerbook instead of a large screen
powermac. As I write this note, am backing up the powermac and getting ready for a wipe clean install.... but have very little confidence that will help.

I am going to ask this one again in a different way. I have searched and searched and MANY MANY others have asked the same question, but nobody has answered, and anybody that obviously figured it out has not dedicated the answer to archive on this mailing list, Google or anywhere else.

I have included a framework (SyncSerivces) in an XCode project.... it's there! I have included the header from the framework in the one of the project files as #import <SyncServices/SyncServices.h>. But when I compile on my PowerMac, XCode cannot find the framework header file, and when I compile on my PowerBook, it compiles just fine.

Does the file exist on both machines?

On my machine it only exists in the /Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.4u.sdk and /System/Library/Frameworks/
Which version of XCode do you have installed?
