Here's another vote for the "I love it" crowd.

My primary IDE experience prior to Xcode was Borland (Delphi and C++ Builder) which is different and has a couple of nice features, but Xcode is far superior. Xcode is tightly integrated with OS X and the command line. It is very flexible yet the learning curve is not steep and a developer can get up and developing in no time while learning the interface. Lots of things just make sense, and the Xcode team seem to quietly, but incredibly capably build a product that suits developers. For example, I'm not sure what prompted the change, but the different folders for Development and Deployment builds makes so much sense and saves me a lot of bother when building my separate client, server applications.

Of course, Xcode still has places to go. I'd like to see the debugger make variable watching much easier, but I don't have any suggestions at this stage that would warrant a feature request.

Heath
