Thanks to the people who answered my last set of questions about Xcode. I wonder if I could try a few more...

Is there any equivalent to the CW "go back" command, which can be used after the "find definition" command, to return to where you came from? I used to find that rather useful.
I didn't find such a feature either. However, i would appreciate such a "navigation history" feature very much!
Please file a feature request :-)
Also, if no text would selected, CW's "find definition" would prompt you to enter a symbol; Xcode doesn't seem to do that. Is there any quick way of looking up a symbol when you don't have its name selected? I'm reduced to typing it in in a source file window, selecting it, choosing "find definition" and then deleting the text afterwards!
I do (have to do) this in the same manner.
There is the comand File -> "Jump to Definition…", unfortunately it works only when there is text selected.
(note: just tested this in XCode 1.5, because I just upgraded XCode 2.1 to 2.2 on my other machine, so 2.1 diminished. But I'll test this in 2.2 later, too)
IMO, when chosing the command "Jump to Definition…", an empty selection should open the dialog to enter the defintion, otherwise it's worth to file a bug report.
Andreas
