That's used by the unit testing system.

If not, then how can I debug the bundle itself?

To debug a bundle, create a custom executable in the bundle's project that points to the application that loads the bundle. You can then run that executable in the debugger. Note that some applications (e.g. DVD Player and iTunes) can't be easily run in the debugger.
