xcode & "get scm info" with perforce

  • Subject: xcode & "get scm info" with perforce

I'm running a local p4d, and have a project set up to use it. Files are being edited and committed properly, but when I select a file and "SCM->Get SCM Info…", the changelist descriptions are not shown. The current revision number of the selected file *is* properly display, but the changelist table is completely unpopulated.

I've also configured xcode to work with CVS and SVN, and did not see this problem with these other systems. I looked in the xcode 2.1 release notes, and apparently a problem like this was known but allegedly fixed in 2.1.

Has anyone else seen this, and can anyone suggest a fix? PEBKAC is completely reasonable here, I'm much more accustomed to command-line development environments so it's entirely possible I'm missing something obvious.

Thanks,
