I am making a dylib for an application and would like to have a version # attached to it.  How do you add a version number in xcode?  I have found the project version number, but that only helps the developers.

Look in the Build Settings for "Current Library Version" and "Compatibility Version."  They support version numbers of the format 65535.255.255.  Compatibility Version specifies the version of the APIs for the library and Current Library Version is for the current version number.
