The MacXcode 2 Book by Michael Cohen and Dennis Cohen with Andy Ihnatko as the series author is a very good read . . . And written in Andy's usual humourous style whilst being very informative. A little limited with Applescript Studio topics though.

I would recommend first looking at the pdf file that Apple provides, XcodeUserGuide20.pdf.  It is well written and has a lot of good information.

I bought the Mac Xcode 2 book and I was very disappointed. It has a lot of "filler" of useless jokes and silliness. The book is written for an non-professional audience - for a hobby programmer who is looking for a fun read.

Just my two cents,
Lyndsey
