Greetings,
I'm hoping one of the Apple engineers can confirm this. When editing the settings of a Jam-based target, the following warning appears in the settings window in Xcode 2.1:
The build settings in this editor show what is defined for this target. When
building from within Xcode, some of these settings may be overridden by
settings defined in any active build style. When building for installation
(using 'pbxbuild install -target CarbonApplication' in a Terminal window), the
settings in this editor will be used.
Is this warning still valid? It would appear that it applies to the pre-2.1 build "styles". This warning makes sense in the context of build styles, but I don't see how it can be relvent in new world of build configurations.
