failed to load custom data formatter plugin

Hi,

the Xcode debugger is giving me this error message a lot. It tells me it was unable to load the Carbon and CoreFoundation formatter plugins, with "Error message was: (null)".

I did not change anything to my Xcode installation, so the plugins are in their default locations with all file permissions intact. I have this on my laptop, and it showed up on a G5 about a week after a blank install - both of them on 10.4.2, Xcode 2.1.

Any hints on what could be going wrong?
