where is build product?

So, I have a directory in my project called "build". Where in there is my actual compile result?

It contains 2 directories, Debug and Pilot.build

Debug seems to contain an actual executable file.
Pilot.build, however, contains more directories and files (including another "debug" directory!) and nothing that looks like or has the icon of a unix executable.

I just want a) to run from the CLI and b) to put a test file in the directory that the executable is running from so it can find it easily.

ZeroLink is on... is that a problem?
