I'm trying to use genstrings with my application, but it seems to

Reading the documentation, I see that the utility is only
documented to handle .c and .m files, but why is this limitation
there?
I am able to get genstrings to generate output by renaming my files
to .m, running genstrings on the result, and changing the name
back... but that seems excessively silly.
