Just to declare some more specifications of the app:
It's written with delphi and uses Paradox 7 DB. We must retain the
database functionality. is this possible with mac? will we have to
change the database engine? How much different is Delphi to Pascal?
Does MacPascal convert delphi to mac?
Thanks in advance for all the replies and help.

Are there any easy ways to port Delphi to xcode?
The program logic: no problem, use the Free Pascal Compiler (http://
www.freepascal.org). It supports most of the Delphi language and
Mac OS X. The GUI part etc will be quite a bit of work however,
although there is someone on the mac-pascal list who has ported the
VCL to Carbon (http://lists.sonic.net/mailman/listinfo/mac-pascal).
This program does image manipulation and has a database that
images are connected to. I have no previous codeing experience.
The person who wrote the application in delphi has never used a
mac before nor understands the platform differences between mac
and PC...
If you have no coding experience, I don't think you will manage.
There is no "import your sources and click build" kind of solution,
and there probably will never be. Especially not if the original
author coded completely Windows-centric.
