XCode 2.2.1 == broken CFPlugin (MIDI Driver) project?

hi all,

I recently upgraded to XCode 2.2.1 and have now discovered that my previously working-fine MIDI Driver project now builds a .plugin bundle which fails to load no matter what amount of coaxing I do to it. Whereas the previous project built a .plugin bundle that loaded fine.

I have:

- Tried all compiler versions from 3.1/3.3/4.0 ..
- Tried the different CoreMIDI SDK for 10.3, 10.3.9, 10.4 ..
- Tried giving my MIDI Driver plugin a new UUID ..
- Tried diff'ing the old working .plugin bundle with the new one, and found that only the executable (binary) file in the .plugin bundle was different..

**note: No, I'm not trying to build a Universeal Binary dist .. only compile a fresh build of the PPC .plugin bundle for internal testing.

Are there any known gotcha's or must-do's that I've been igorant of on this upgrade of XCode? Unfortunately it looks like I must install the older XCode on an ailing iMac to try to get my work on the MIDI driver completed .. an utterly unsavoury proposition at this point in time .. so if anyone has any clues, please email me soon and let me know - thanks, all help appreciated.
