Question – Why does it display verbose resource information as errors?  ( red circle with an X and listed under Errors and Warnings.)
If I turn on verbose c compiler then it shows up in the log but doesn’t make them as errors.

Because we haven't taught the Xcode tool-output parser the syntax of Rez verbose output, because (from its MPW roots) it doesn't have much of one.  The result is much the same as you get from random diagnostic output of tools you run in a Run Script build phase.
