I travel - web access is NOT guaranteed so I prefer to have documentation on my machine. Now whenever I search for any documentation I always end up in Safari - not in Xcode like I used to. (I don't want to be in Safari even when I have a web connection either.)

What did that documentation updater do to my installation and how do I get back to where I was?

In Xcode Preferences, the Documentation pane, have you dragged your PDF folder so that it's above Web?
