huge temporary files

Hi,

I played around with some c-macros in xCode which were supposed to hardcode loops. e.g. something like "repeatFunc(a) (a;a;a;a)" Inadvertently, I created a slightly too large "loop" which caused the compiler to create several GB of data and my computer to crash as it didn't have any more space on the start-up volume... Now, after a restart, I can't find those huge files eating up all my HD space... The project folder itself doesn't seem to contain any of them.

Where does xCode usually create "temporary" files like those?
