I think it must be representative of a dilemma Apple faces. The ADC Documentation download is already huge, and they have to draw the line somewhere. I would find *lots* of extra materials handy, but I don't want the download size to get much higher than it is. I'm already resistant to downloading updates.

In case it's useful to you, I will point out that the ADC DVDs do contain just about (and maybe absolutely) everything that you can find through the web site. I find the DVDs handy for this purpose when I'm not connected to the net.

Tech notes are not included in the stuff in your Developer folder
documentation. So you can't read any tech notes if you happen to be in a
situation where you're not connected to the Internet. But tech notes are an
important part of the documentation; often, they tell you stuff you can
learn in no other way. I feel that it would be well worth the extra space
occupied in order to have tech notes available online when you're offline
(if you see what I mean). Is there support for a bug report on this? If so,
I'll file it. m.
