My initial guess is that the file in question was part of another
build phase (say the Copy Bundle Resources build phase). I would look
through all the build phases and see if the file reference shows up in
more than one.

Hello,
is it anyhow possible that a course (in a Cocoa framework project)
(a) is shown checked in a target;
(b) has a target in Get Info / Targets;
BUT at the same time
(c) is *not* in the target's Compile Sources phase;
(d) and indeed does not compile?
I've bumped into this very situation now, and am thoroughly
perplexed... this should not be possible, or have I overlooked
something?!?
Deag&dropping the file into the Compile Sources phase fixed the
problem, but I wonder how many other sources (the framework has a
number of them) are missing the same way :)
