profiling java method calls using shark

I'm trying to profile the postgresql jdbc driver. I have a test program which I run with java -XrunShark ....

I can start the profiler, but when the program exits the profiler doesn't stop. It doesn't stop when I hit the stop button either ?

Any suggestions would be welcome.
