I'm not sure where you are getting all those "setenv" statements from
(though they are very cool). Basically, the first statement in the build log
should show the info.plist preprocessing, followed by the processing of the
preprocessed plist (if you know what I mean):

The little-known Build Transcript hides in the Build Results window behind the little button with lines of text on it (between the caution icon and the triangle).


As for the original bug, I've found it difficult to regenerate plists -- Xcode seldom wants to. I assume INFOPLIST_PREPROCESS is on in the target (or project)?
