It make may sense to look at the following Java related tutorial since Objective-C @try/@catch/@finally works in nearly the exact same way.

I think his suggestion of xcode list what more about your asking about Xcode configuration (your "Xcode 101" email) then about asking about @try/@catch/@finally.
