question about building on MacBookPro (Core 2 Duo)

  • Subject: question about building on MacBookPro (Core 2 Duo)

Hi

I noticed that Xcode 2.4.1 builds my project in different way on the different hardware:
on MacPro quad it compiles by 4 filesĀ
in PowerMac dual G5 it compiles by 2 files
but on MacBookPro (Core 2 Duo) it compiles by single file
just as on iMac G5

is it possible to setup xcode on Core 2 Duo (MacBookPro) in such a way
that it will compile by 2 files (it has 2 cores and I can see that 2 cores in the
Processor preferences)

thanks in advance

Dmitry Markman
