Using an alternate framework search path in the Developer Tools

Hello XCode Users,

I was wondering if there is a way to change the default framework search path when running programs under the Developer Tools, e.g., MallocDebug and Shark. My problem is that I don't have root or sudo permission on my machine, and therefore I can only install frameworks that I build into ~/Library/Frameworks, not /Library/Frameworks. I can build in XCode and run the resulting binaries from within XCode or on the command line, but MallocDebug seems to require that all framworks used by the binary be in a pre-defined set of locations. Is there a way to add ~/Library/Frameworks to that search path, such as one of the DYLD environment variables?

Thank you in advance,

David Lobron
