Is there anyway in XCode to make it realize a file has been updated?
Sometimes (too many times IMHO), XCode is not able to see that a .nib "file" or another resource has been changed.

This should not happen. Do you have your files on a network mount?

No.

This happens most of the time when I update a nib without having opened it from XCode.

There is also the case of modifications made in the Info.plist file in XCode which are not taken into account when I build the project. But I think this is another semi-related issue.
