What is frustrating for me is the inability to set breakpoints in the
GUI. I can set them somewhat in GDB, but then I can use the GUI to
"Step Over" or "Step Into". Sometimes I want to yell!
I do like distributed builds though, except when having it on
generates an "internal compiler error".

My conclusions for XCode development are 1) get the fastest machine
you can possibly get for development, 2) check out the new Intel Mac

developers.
Lots and lots and lots of RAM helps a lot, in my experience. The
intel
compilers are just compilers, not a full IDE, so that can only
partly help.
