We did some benchmarking on compile times with one of our products.
Here's the setup, we tested a PowerBook (don't recall the speed,
maybe 1 model old), Dual 1.8 G5, and a 20" iMac Core Duo.
Here are some compile times:
Single Distributed (5 1.8 G5's)
PowerBook : 24:26 06:56
Dual 1.8 G5: 11:10 03:58
Intel iMac : 05:37 ---
So the iMac Core Duo's are really pretty quick. I can't wait to see
how the Pro Desktop's perform.
