-bind_at_load warning

Getting this warning:

/usr/bin/ld: warning suggest use of -bind_at_load, as lazy binding may result in errors or different symbols being used

I added this to "other linker flags" in the target settings, which made the warning go away, but am uncertain why this warning has suddenly appeared, or if this was the best way to handle it.
