Holy cripes. What is Xcode doing when you add lots of files to an already large project? I dragged 208 .icns files into the Resources group about 20 minutes ago. Xcode is churning away in the 90% cpu range. It's in some PBXExtendedOutlineView and NSNotificationCenter code, comparing files names and such. This sort of thing really shouldn't take this long. Doesn't look like it's hitting the network a bunch to check source control status or anything like that. If it is, it sure is taking its sweet time between each hit. I surely hope the next release is 90% speed improvements, 8% fixing of goofy things, and 2% new features. It really does have potential, if only it didn't waste half of each work day waiting for stuff to finish.

I'm a wheel and I'm squeaking. Please apply oil. :)
