Title: Re: Xcode install hangs
Good suggestion but the 1.5 installation hangs too during the install script. The system isn't actually hung as I can do some other things but if I try to start other applications their windows never appear even though their icons are in the Dock. I wanted to run top in Terminal to see what might be consuming the CPU, but the Terminal windows never appears.
Is the install script a shell script or Applescript or some kind of text file I can look at?

The installation hangs for hours near the end( stating " about a minute left") both times I have tried. I finally had to Force Quit it.
The installation notes warn that the "about a minute remaining" message is bogus.
I am trying to install version 1.1 on 10.3.9 on my white iBook 600 mHz
Xcode seems to be installed and even starts up and works ok for a while. Eventually it gets into a loop where it thinks something is being built and won't let me quit because of it.
