Executable path is nil!

  • Subject: Executable path is nil!

I saw that someone else had the same problem, but did not see a solution posted:
I run XCode 2.2 and have a project. If I build and run it from the Build Results window the program runs, but I get no debugging info, in particular, the program does not stop at breakpoints, nor does it put me in the debugger if the program chrashes. On the other hand if I try to build and run the program from the Debugger window it compiles and then it says "Error from Debugger: Executable path is nil!".
What can I do to make the debugger find the executable?
