'Examples' missing in Xcode installation

Hi all,
I was going through the article Understanding
Xcode Projects which uses DotView.xcodeproj to explain the
functionality of Xcode.This .xcodeproj file is supposed to be
present in the location /Developer/Examples/AppKit/DotView/DotView.xcodeproj
of my machine, but I noticed that my machine does not have the
folder AppKit in the path /Developer/Examples/
Can somebody guide me to where I can find and download these example
files?
Machine Configuration:
iBook, Mac OS X Version 10.4.2
500 MHz PowerPC G3
256 MB SDRAM
Xcode v2.1
