I am using Xcode to program in Ruby. I would like to know if you are
aware of a way to use the class browser with ruby code. And if not if
there is a way to extend Xcode so that it does so. Thanks in advance.
No, the indexer that drives all symbolic navigation currently works only with C-derived languages. We understand the desire to extend this.
Thanks, that's sad. But the indexes you are speaking about are available in the editor...
The code completion facility, the function popup in the Editor navigation bar, and the class browser/index subsystem all use separate source parsers. Some of these support more languages and dialects than others.
