Also, any idea if it would mean the following SDK would work within X-code?

If it requires Linux with ICC it could be adapted to Mac OS X relatively easily, but it probably won't compile out of the box with no changes. Fovia would probably have to add Mac OS X binaries to its SDK in order for you to link, unless they provide full source for you to build, which I somewhat doubt.
