Any ideas? Are there any tools that will give me more information on
why CFBundleLoadExecutable is failing to find it when the framework
really is there?

I had a similar mysterious "Cannot find executable" failure of CFBundleLoadExecutable when trying to use a private framework. It turned out that the framework's Info.plist had an error. The CFBundleExecutable was specified as Foo.framework, but should have been Foo.
