Greetings,
I've been trying to debug our app after linking with the "Only Link
In Essential Symbols" pref. Has anyone used this feature
successfully? I'm assuming it's sort of a halfway point between
linking all symbols and Zerolink, right?
The docs say it can't normally be debugged without all the .o files,
but even with all the .o's I can't seem to stop on any breakpoints.
Breakpoints work just fine for me with this feature off.
I know breakpoints have been discussed many times on this list, but I
wasn't able to find any info tying those problems to the Essential
Symbols pref. Has anyone run into this since switching to Xcode 2.2
and, if so, were you able to work around it?
