Yes, it is still broken. Today I updated to XCode 2.2.1 and tried it again.
Still the same :
"Checking DependenciesException occurred while starting build: Attempt
to mutate immutable object with
replaceOccurrencesOfString:withString:options:range:"
I played around with it a bit more and the problem seems to occur when
Objective-C++ files (*.mm) are used in a target.
You can break Fix & Continue in the default "Cocoa Document-based
Application" by renaming MyDocument.m to MyDocument.mm.
I filed it as bug #4416202
I'm just surprised now that only so few other people had problems with
that (or at least wrote about them), since I suppose there must be
many people using Objective-C++ (probably even at Apple). Or are there
people out there for whom it works ?
I would be surprised about that though, since I tried it on three
machines, including one which is mostly used for video processing. I
only installed XCode on it for distributed builds. Other than enabling
distributed builds on it the preferences are pretty much untouched,
so I don't think it is due to my settings.
