In my experience, if "Continue building after errors" is activated,
Xcode will continue to launch the application, even if there were
build errors. Yes, I find this rather annoying as well.

Does anyone else find that Xcode 2.2 will often report a
build success when there were actually errors in some of
the source files?
Maybe the "Continue building after errors" option has been activated?
From my understanding and experience, that's not how that works.
If any of the compilation units fail, the entire build fails, or at
least it should. But with "continue" on, building of all
compilation units is attempted even if one or more fail.
