Hey, chief....I compiled this about 15 times with all different settings of
MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET_i386 and MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET_ppc. No matter
what I did, your #if would never fire. I looked at it in Alias.h file and
compared it what I in my file about 10 times and, yeah, they looked the
same. I couldn't figure it out until today when I copied and pasted out of
Alias.h into the preceding line my file, which I had copied from your email.
Here's what I saw:
#if MAC_OS_X_VERSION_MIN_REQUIRED >= MAC_OS_X_VERSION_10_4
#if MAC_OS_X_MIN_VERSION_REQUIRED >= MAC_OS_X_VERSION_10_4
DDDDDUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
So, now let me re-paraphrase your earlier advice:
> When in doubt, take a look at the header.
Here's what I say: When in doubt, go take a nap, work on something else for
a week, and then take a Real Damned Close Look at the header!
Good news: This was the most difficult hurdle of going Universal.
Everything else pretty much just worked.
Thanks,
Jerry
