Simple 'Copy Files' Question

  • Subject: Simple 'Copy Files' Question

Hi,

I'm tinkering with building audio units using the AUDemo from Apple.

What I'd like to do is modify the target so that my built product (the audio unit) gets copied to the correct directory at the end of the build. I've added a new 'copy files' build phase and added the product to it but XCode doesn't like this as it now says the target depends on it's own product!

Is there a way of doing this? In the docs it indicates that this is exactly the kind of thing that 'copy files' is for.

I have ended up doing this kind of thing before with a script build phase because I couldn't get 'Copy Files' to do what I wanted then either - thought I'd give it another go though...

Any help appreciated.
