One problem with this that I have noticed is that Xcode does not work correctly if you have two (or more) versions of the source files. When I create a new version of my projects I copy the project folder and rename the new folder. Xcode wants to find symbols in the old project folder for some reason. The only way around this that I have found is to archive all the source and header files in the old folder.

No, that didn't fix it.

For some reason, "Find->Jump to definition" stopped working for me. Is
there some index file that needs to be rebuilt or something?

It's always worth trying Project > Edit Project Settings, General tab, click
Rebuild CodeSense Index.
