Hello,
I seem to remember that you also have to
make sure that it is also listed in one of the items in the build tab when you
double click the target and the info window appears. I just made sure that I have
an icn file and that I ADD the file to the resources section of the project
tree in xcode for the target that is to be built 9or all targets if desired)
which is what I assume puts the icn file in the resources bundle.
I assume that it is also an icon.
The comments above are from memory. My
email system is on a PC. YMMV.

Subject: Associating icon wiht app
bundle in XCode
I'm having problems associating an icon with my
application. I checked out the XCode documentation and it said the
following (not in these words):
1) Put the name of the icon in your info plist (associated
with the CFBundleIconFile) or just put the name of the icon in the "Icon
File" property in the target properties window.
2) Make sure that the icon is in the Resources folder of the
bundle.
I did both of these things, but each time I build I (a)
don't see the icon associated with my .app file (the icon is not to the left of
the file) and (b) when I start the application the icon does not appear in the
dock. Did I miss a step here? Sorry for such a simple question, but
I can't see what I'm doing wrong.
