Error code "OTHER"

Hi All,
I am getting a

"syntax error at 'OTHER' token", (using the Standard Tool)

with this code:

"while ( (c=s1[i++])!= \'0')"

Can't find this error code in the help section. Can someone perhaps tell me what it usually means?
