As long as you realize that people that don't update their OS's typically
don't update their applications ether then the question becomes do you have
a valid business reason to support those older versions of your OS?
In some cases (education?) the answer is "Yes" but for most it's "No".
I believe that the best strategy for developers is to post old GM's for
users on the older systems with the understanding that they're not being
maintained. Newer features and bug fixes are only available in the current
release.
