Title: Xcode 2.3 & Perforce oddities...
Has anyone run into this message from Xcode:
“No files in this project were found under the Perforce root:”
Just yesterday, Xcode and Perforce were working together very smoothly. Now suddenly, I’m getting this error message from Xcode and the SCM > GET SCM INFO... Menu item is grayed out.
But right-clicking on the Project in Groups & Files, I’m able to use “Get Info” and get to the “General” tab, where SCM is enabled, set to Perforce, and the Perforce-specific settings look good. P4Port, p4CLIENT the Perforce Tool Path and my User name (and password) are set correctly.
These settings also match the same settings in p4V, which continues to work correctly.
The Keychain has a correct setting for p4’s password, incorporating the syntax of P4PORT.
Somehow, something else has gotten mucked up — but I can’t seem to find out where.
H---E---L---P!
Stephen
