Well, I'm in the debug configuration and clearly it's not checked. Yet just as clearly, it's using ZeroLink:

Building ZeroLink launcher /Users/markian/Documents/School/PhD/ Development/Database/build/Debug/Database


What am I missing here, please?

You say you're looking at project info. Have you looked at target info?
