In the general case they probably don't. They're also not suggesting that you should provide it:


	"Please upload your System Profile or Windows System Configuration if
	 submitting a report against:
	 Hardware, Printing, Graphics, Audio or a crashing issue."

I think that this field used to be mandatory, but that's no longer the case.
