- Thread-topic: Scripts Menu ReplaceAllText Causes Editor to Break?
Since my original post yesterday I have discovered that the problem is not
always completely repeatable. Sometimes, the "cleanup" script just fails to
work but does not break the editor. Behavior may depend on whether the file
is displayed in the "all in one" editor pane or in the "Project Find".
Also, what might cause it, I notice that when all the text is replaced
("%%%{PBXOutput=ReplaceAllText}%%%"), the display does not even "blink".
Maybe Xcode is doing some behind-the-curtains trickery to keep the display
from blinking, and maybe this is where the bug is?
I'll wait a week or so to see if anyone has any clues, then file a bug
report (and make a bet with our dog that it gets fixed before Microsoft
releases Vista. The dog's betting three biscuits on Microsoft).
