xcodeproj changes killing my diffs

  • Subject: xcodeproj changes killing my diffs

Each time you open a project, xml files in the project bundle changes, even if you did not change anything in the project.

Heres an example:

bzr status
modified:
  foo.xcodeproj/nir.pbxuser
  foo.xcodeproj/nir.perspective

bzr diff | wc -c
   48928

47K diff just for opening and closing the project file!

This problem make reading diffs very hard, because each tiny change in your source is littered with huge irelevant diff in the project files.

I'm sure most of you know this problem and I wonder what is the best way to avoid it.

Best Regards,

Nir Soffer
