please file a bug. hopefully Apple will consider fixing it if they get hundreds of same bug reports.

i don't know how to reproduce it but it happened in TextEdit.app as well on my Mac.

it is NOT an Xcode specific problem.

katsura

Is anyone else seeing strange behavior in Mac OS X 10.4.5 (PPC), Xcode 2.2.1 where Monaco 10 looks fine at first and then after awhile, some characters start drawing incorrectly? The difference is subtle, but noticeable if you look at enough Monaco.

I have it in Terminal and Mail as well. Currently, my 8 is messed up (see attachment). I've also seen # becoming strange, and also saw that sometimes things become ok again after a while (or that suddenly different characters get drawn wrongly). Changing the size from 10pt to 9pt solves it, but that's kind of hard to read. Text smooth is set to only turn off at 6pt or smaller.
