Is it possible to build a PowerPC and debug it on intel? I know there are issues with debugging a universal binary, but should debugging a PowerPC app on intel work?

You can't use the Xcode debugger, but you can debug a Rosetta application via gdb if you follow certain steps. See the Rosetta appendix of the Universal Binary Programming Guidelines on developer.apple.com for details.

Hope this helps,
Eric
